Much of our effort from the very beginning focused on selecting a superior quality mare band as the foundation of our breeding program.  Each mare has earned her place because of her exceptional qualities.  Many have proven themselves in the performance ring and breeding classes.  All have gentle temperaments.

Debt Limit (aka Susie) is from the breeding program of Dresden Farm, Middleburg, Virginia.  Originally a race horse, this gorgeous mare retired to active maternity duty as a producer of fantastic large hunter ponies.

“Rosie” catches every eye when she trots across the ground.  She deserved her title as VPBA Broodmare of 2000 and has given us two outstanding foals proving she passes her talent to her offspring.  She is a full sister to USAeq 2002 Hunter Pony Sire Champion, Wellen Red Rock.  She is in foal to Clovercroft Polarized for 2004 foal.

Wynnbrook Twig

“Twig” has replaced the beloved Brookside Pink Magnolia in our broodmare herd.  She is an outstanding example of a Welsh pony suitable for the hunter pony ring.  Her success in the breeding classes is just the beginning of her career.  She will begin her under-saddle training this spring.  Watch for her in the show ring! Pearl has been retained for a future broodmare.  She is a lovely medium part bred hunter pony by Clovercroft Polarized.  Her siblings are already successful in the hunter pony ring.  Great disposition and beautiful mover. She will be bred for a 2008 foal.

This classy large pony is retained by Wynnbrook Farm.  She is elegant and kind with a lovely way of going.  She has the potential to perform as a top show pony.  We will bring her out in the performance ring in 2007.  She will be bred for 2007 foal.

Bred at Wynnbrook Farm and retained for future grandchild show pony, “Nisse” is a lovely medium Welsh hunter pony.  She will been shown in 2007 and bred to Clovercroft Polarized for a 2007 foal.
